Rick Astley‘s “Never Gonna Give You Up,” has turned 30 today (July 28th).  The song debuted on his 1987 album, “Whenever You Need Somebody.”

The hit single found a second life in the form of a, “meme,” on the internet.  “Rick-Rolled,” is a term that was created to define any event when one thing is promised and Astley’s song would play instead.
