Beatles fans hitting the Las Vegas strip are in for a rare free treat as the Cirque du Soleil production of The Beatles LOVE is opening for free weekend tours.  The Las Vegas Sun reported that the new “Magical Technical Tour” is a half-hour absolutely free behind the scenes look at the production happening at 1 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.  The tour is the first time that Cirque is opening its doors to the public in this capacity, and offers a unique look at the show’s opening number ‘Get Back,’ which is “performed by the theater only.  With no artists onstage, the viewer can truly understand how the venue is one of the stars of the show.”  For more information on the all ages weekend tours, call (702) 352-0040.

The Beatles LOVE, which is celebrating its 11th year, incorporates the group’s music with Cirque du Soleil’s acrobatic performance artists, features a specially created musical mosaic of the band’s tunes created by the Beatles’ legendary late-producer George Martin and his son Giles Martin.
