David Bowie: The Last Five Years will air on HBO in January 2018 and focus on the final years of the late Classic Hits Artist.  These years will include the productions of his last two albums:  The Next Day and Blackstar.

Director and Bowie documenter, Francis Whately said about Bowie, “He wanted to make his final act one to remember.  And, one way of coping with the pain of the treatment and knowing what was going to happen was to keep himself occupied.  I wanted to look at his final period through the prism of the past.”
