Animal Crackers have been around since the late nineteenth century and have been in our hearts and mouths ever since.  The most famous iteration of these, “Barnum’s Animals” premiered in 1903 and has featured 106 different animals.

National Animal Cracker Day commemorates this famous snack.  You can celebrate it by eating some animal crackers, singing along with Shirley Temple or even watching the classic Marx Brothers movie of the same name.
