Chicagoland is in no short supply of excellent restaurants and diners and Travel and Leisure agrees.  The website, for everything you’ll want to know for road trips to vacations outside of the country, has put together their “Top 25 Diners in the U.S.” list with Ray’s Family Restaurant placing among the many contenders.
