4 Blue Line stations get HD cameras

In May, The City of Chicago announced that they would be beefing up security at train stations with 1000 new HD cameras.  They’ve begun to deliver by upgrading several cameras to the new HD models along the Blue Line.  Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson has publicly stated, “Over the past few years CPD has made over 1,200 arrests directly result of cameras on CTA platforms and around the stations. This technology helps us to become better.”  Many more cameras are on the way.
