McDonald’s might be bringing Bacon Cheese Fries to the masses soon. The fast food chain has been testing the Loaded Bacon & Cheese Basket of Fries since 2017, and sold a new iteration, Cheesy Bacon Fries, in Northern California and Hawaii this November. But Business Insider recently reported that a McDonald’s employee with knowledge of the situation reported that the fries will be available nationwide early next year.
When Delish asked McDonald’s for comment, the company said, “I’m afraid I’ll have to provide a cheesy no comment. At this moment, our kitchens are bacon-ing something together. But we’re not yet ready to share the gouda news.”
