A female lab mix has the Chicago Fire Department to thank for her rescue yesterday from Lake Michigan. The CFD were able to fish her out of the water near the 5600 block of North Lake Shore Drive. The dog was taken to Jewell Animal Hospital in Ravenswood where she received stabilization for the traumatic experience. She will be reunited with her owner.
