‘Aquaman’ tops box office for third week

Aquaman is leading the box office for the third week in a row, but thriller Escape Room is nipping its heels in its first weekend out.

Warner Bros. said that Aquaman brought in $30.7 million last weekend, from 4,000 North American theaters, bringing the total up to $260 million. The Jason Momoa and Amber Heard-led film has done well overseas too, bringing in $940.7 million.

Escape Room, starring Taylor Russell, Deborah Ann Woll and Logan Miller, and directed by Adam Robitel, brought in $18 million.
