Sears last minute bid might save the Chicago-based business

Sears CEO, Eddie Lampert pushed it to the final hour when he submitted his $4.4 billion offer to save Sears from shutdown.  The deal has yet to be approved by a judge but it may be what keeps the company and 425 of it’s stores afloat.  Should another bid come along from a party that wishes to close the once department giant, then we could still see an end to the Chicago-born Sears.
