People will buy just about anything if it says, “Gucci,” on the tag! The design in question are the men’s Screener sneakers which have scuffs, marks, and come in a variety of stained colors. Gucci says they reference “old school shapes and materials inspired by vintage sportswear”—but they retail for just over $870. One shopper commented, “I’ve seen it all now, an eye-watering price-tag for a pair of dirty [sneakers.]” The brand is also selling the Rhyton, a chunky tennis shoe which also looks dirty!
