Illinois troopers are getting tricky in their speeder pursuits. Like a plot out of the Hanna-Barbera classic, Wacky Racers, state troopers are dressing up as construction workers and catching speeders in construction zones. This is currently happening in Moline. Troopers say it’s not about speed tickets, it’s about saving lives. So, how long until we see the state troopers popping up in construction zones on the Ike or the Kennedy Expressway? Might want to slow it down just in case!
