Lashana Lynch has been cast as 007 for the new James Bond film, according to multiple reports. The 31-year-old will take over after Daniel Craig reprises his role in the upcoming untitled film currently in production.
Per The Mail on Sunday, fans will learn that Bond has retired from his post at the start of the film, and when he is called back to handle a crisis, in walks Lynch. I guess this will finally confirm whether or not James Bond is canonically just a codename in the movies.
