The City of Chicago believes its train system can use an update, and it will officially be getting that this fall.  While no construction dates have been announced for the $2.1 billion dollar project, the city intends to build a new rail bypass bridge at the Belmont station where several lines meet.  This will allow for an increase of trains and a shorter wait for your next ride!
