Time or Money? 1 in 3 workers would give up 26% of their salaries for unlimited time off

One in three workers would give up as much as 26% of their salaries in exchange for unlimited time off, a new survey from Allianz Global Assistance shows. About 55% said they wouldn’t give up any money for time off. And surprisingly, 12% say they already have unlimited time off as a job benefit.

But that’s a phantom benefit, according to recruiter, Jeff Zinser. Workers who have a 52-week workload are understandably reluctant to take much time off, he notes. In reality, people with unlimited vacation time take about 13 days off, compared with 15 for traditional employers who limit vacation days.
