Starting tonight, for a full nine days you will not be able to take the CTA Blue Line from O’Hare to Rosemont and vice versa.  Repairs are taking place from 10PM tonight, Friday, September 27th through Monday, October 7th at 4AM.  The purpose of this project is to upgrade a 40-year-old signal system in critical need of work.

Those who would need to get from Rosemont to O’Hare or O’Hare to Rosemont can take a free shuttle bus that is being offered to accommodate riders.  The CTA does note that this will not be as fast of a trip as the train ride, so riders should expect an extra 20-30 minutes in their travel time.
