Starbucks said Wednesday, April 29th that it will begin reopening its cafes for to-go service starting in May, and by early June, it expects to reopen 90 percent of its company-run locations in the U.S. Customers will be able to get to-go service via drive-thru, order ahead and pickup, and delivery, depending on local markets, but generally not through walk-in orders at the register. Starbucks has closed about half of its U.S. company-owned locations since March due to the pandemic.
