Reboots abound!  HBO just released their trailer for their reboot of the classic TV series, Perry Mason.  The crime drama is set to return in the form of a mini-series starring Matthew Rhys of “The Americans,” and “Brothers and Sisters,” as the titular criminal defense lawyer.  The series will also star Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) and Jonathan Lithgow.  Perry Mason (2020) premieres June 21st.

Perry Mason started his fictional law career in the 1933 pulp fiction, “The Case of The Velvet Claws.”  He’s best remembered for his 1957-1966 Television series, in which Mason was played by Raymond Burr for 9 seasons/271 episodes.
