Record Store Day is a music-lover’s holiday! The event takes place every year and features vinyl releases by artists old and new, as well as discounts to entice you to visit your local record store. 2020’s Record Store Day was supposed to be in April, but with the pandemic the event was pushed back. Now, we get THREE Record Store Days. The Holiday will be stretched among August 29th, September 26th and October 24th.
Notable releases for these days include a new archival David Bowie release called “ChangesNowBowie,” limited-edition picture disc versions of The Cure‘s Seventeen Seconds and Bloodflowers, U2’s debut single, “11 O’Clock Tick Tock,” and The Toto-scored Dune Soundtrack and Fleetwood Mac’s “The Alternate Rumors.”
More release info can be found on the Record Store Day website.
