Great news for Chicago: as of Saturday, May 30th, the 9PM curfew has been lifted. Mayor Lori Lightfoot took to Twitter to announce the end of the curfew indefinitely. It was originally imposed due to riots that took place during protest.
The curfew is lifted effective immediately. I know this time in our city and our country has been difficult for us all, and I’m grateful to our residents for working together to navigate this challenging time.
