People REALLY want to get back into the zoo. So much so, they crashed the ticketing system!! It was recently announced that Brookfield Zoo will soon reopen to the public on July 8th. People flocked to buy their tickets in advance, crashing the ticket site over the weekend.
Unfortunately, our ticket reservation system was unable to keep up with demand and resolve various issues. We have decided to pause our ticketing system in order to increase capacity and fix the issues as to avoid any further confusion or frustration. (1/2)

They’ve since fixed their site, but biggest takeaway is, if you haven’t already gotten your tickets to the zoo, you probably won’t be going for a while…
