The Times Square New Year’s Eve ball drop will be virtual this year. The organizers announced yesterday that it’s going to be done completely online and there will be barricades set up in the area to keep people out.
This news comes right after the announcement of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade is going virtual for this year. This seems to be the norm for big holiday events for the time being… Could we be seeing the Chicago River turned green virtually next year as well?
