In just over two weeks, we will finally be saying goodbye — and good riddance — to 2020, and disco diva Gloria Gaynor will be on hand in Times Square on New Year’s Eve to sing out the old year with her classic hit, “I Will Survive.” Organizers said yesterday, December 15th, that Gaynor’s performance will be part of the end-of-year celebration, which will also honor essential workers.

Sting will also perform with Shirazee on NBC’s New Year’s Eve 2021, which will be hosted by Carson Daly. The broadcast airs live from Times Square on Thursday, December 31st.

No audience will be there in person this year because of the pandemic, so it will be an event entirely for broadcast, with the network show that are usually in Times Square for the ball drop to also be there this year.

Other performers include Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Busta Rhymes ft. Anderson, Goo Goo Dolls, Kylie Minogue, and Pentatonix, among others.
