Hopefully we won’t experience this again anytime soon! This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Groundhog Day blizzard that would quickly be known as, “Snowmaggedon!” Snow, freezing wind and lightning turned this storm into a memorable with people losing power, drivers abandoning cars on Lake Shore Drive and over 20 inches of snow reported in different places!
February 1st and 2nd of 2011 were CRAZY!! Here’s hoping that 2021 doesn’t say, “Hold my beer!”
