Chicago indoor dining capacity could expand for Valentine’s Day

And now, for a little bit of normal: dining out for Valentine’s Day.  The City of Chicago could be allowing restaurants to increase their seating capacity in time for the holiday.

The city is currently in Phase 4 of reopening but Mayor Lightfoot and the Chicago Department of Health have yet to allow restaurants to permit 25% capacity or 25 persons per room.  By Valentine’s Day it will have been 2 weeks since restaurants have began allowing indoor dining again.  So, the city is allowed to increase to that 25%/25 people allowance… for the holiday, will they?
