Summer may be drawing to a close, but events at Navy Pier are still going on.

The iconic tourist destination has proudly announced on their website that their summer fireworks shows are extended for two more shows after Labor Day.  The site identifies that this is the first time that has ever happened.

You can catch these two fireworks shows on Saturday, September 11th and Saturday, September 18th, both at 9:30PM.

There are a number of other events ahead, taking place at the pier.  These include Moonlight Movies (a weekly outdoor movie showing), Chi-Soul Fest and a free outdoor screening event of Othello: The Remix by the Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
