They’re making a Spirit Halloween Store Movie

There are over 1,400 Spirit Halloween store locations across the country during the Halloween season, thanks to all the vacant buildings that allow them to rise from the dead every year…

So, of course, there’s going to be a family movie based on the store called “Spirit Halloween”.  Christopher Lloyd is in it, and so is Rachel Leigh Cook, from “She’s All That” and “Josie and the Pussycats”.

It’s going to be about a Spirit Halloween store that pops up in a deserted shopping center (as they do).  But when three middle school friends make a dare to spend the night locked in the store, they soon find it is haunted by an evil spirit who possesses animatronics. The kids have to figure out how to survive the night.

Filming has already been completed, but no release date has been announced.  It’ll most likely be out in time for this year’s Halloween.
