The Lake County Sheriff’s Department is in the final process of adopting two new K-9 deputies. The German Shephard pups will be between 1.5 years old and 2 years old.
The department is letting children name their newest furry members. From now until September 9th at noon, children with permission from their parent or guardian can submit their name ideas. The department will choose their favorite names and let the public know their picks after.

Names of Lake Country’s current K-9 deputies include Axel, Boomer, Danno, Dax, Duke, Echo, Ryker, Tera(byte).
