Chicago students are returning to school after a shorter summer break. Normally, CPS kicks off the new school year after Labor Day, but this summer, students only got 68 days and are returning TODAY (August 22nd).

The good news is students can get free rides today from Pace Buses and Metra. The offer extends to CPS students in grades K-12. The free rides run from 5:30 AM to 8 PM.
