People at Microsoft realized that Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation” has the ability to crash laptops that are running on Windows XP. So if you’re using Windows XP right now, maybe don’t play the following music video…
It turned out, that there’s a frequency in the song that attacks the model of 5400 rpm laptop hard drives.
When Microsoft’s Raymond Chen found this out, he put a poll out letting people guess which song actually caused the issue. While many thought it was Rhythm Nation, most guessed Vanilla Ice‘s “Ice Ice Baby.”
