…What the hell is Pickle Ball?
Pickle Ball is a new low-intensity sport that’s been taking the nation by storm. Think Tennis on a much smaller court with rackets that look like they were made by Nerf, and Wiffle balls. The game was enjoyed by older people looking to stay active and now it’s becoming a competitive sport!
So much so, that there is a Professional Pickle Ball tournament in Highland Park this weekend. It kicked off on Thursday, September 1st, and runs through Sunday, September 4th. 700 players are competing for a $50,000 cash prize!
