A jersey worn by Michael Jordan during the 1998 NBA Finals and featured in the excellent documentary, “Last Dance,” just sold for a whopping $10.091 million! This is way more than the auction house thought the jersey would sell for… You can check out the listing by Sotheby’s here.
To give you perspective, Kobe Bryant’s jersey that he wore for his ’96-’97 season sold for $3.69 million. So the almost $10.1 million price point was a pleasant surprise.
