Maybe you should consider naming your next dog, “Treat,” or “Cookie.”..

A poll by CLIF PET found dogs are more likely to respond when you say, “treat” or “cookie,” instead of their own names. The poll found dogs are more motivated by treat containers and whatever words we use for their yummy rewards.
The poll of 2,000 dog owners also found that 3 in 4 dog owners don’t believe they could train their pets without treats.
