The Grateful Dead may finally be… dead. Guitarist Bob Weir announced on Friday that Dead & Company will launch their FINAL TOUR next summer.

But he added, quote, “Don’t worry, we will all be out there in one form or another until we drop.”
Dead & Company includes three original members of the Grateful Dead: Weir and drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart.
The band is rounded out by guitarist John Mayer, bassist Oteil Burbridge, and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti.
