Corey Simons considers himself pretty lucky after this, but you may not agree…

He got his car stolen twice in one night within the span of 3 hours! First, his 2017 Jaguar SUV was taken from an auto shop in Bucktown. It was promptly recovered by police in East Garfield Park thanks to a GPS tracker on the car.

Obviously, it didn’t stop there…

Next, after recovering his vehicle, Simons stopped to fill up on gas. And at the station, someone jumped into his car and took off again! The second jacking took place within 3 hours of the first. So Simons called the same police officers, “You’re never gonna believe this, but my car was stolen again.”

Police recovered the vehicle again, this time in Douglas Park.

Corey Simons’ take away: “Just a life lesson that we all need to be careful of our surroundings and just be smart and diligent.”
