Jay Leno suffered serious burns to his face on Saturday, when one of his cars burst into flames inside a garage in Burbank.  According to TMZ, Jay burned the left side of his face, but there was no damage to his eye or ear.

He was taken by ambulance to a place called Grossman Burn Center, but it’s not clear if he’s still there.  He had to cancel a gig on Sunday in Las Vegas.

He did release a statement yesterday saying, quote, “I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire.  I am ok.  Just need a week or two to get back on my feet.”
