The world lost a media icon this week. Barbara Walters passed away at the age of 93.

Walters was one of the best-known news anchors in American history. She gained prominence during her coverage of the JFK Assassination. In 2015 she retired and has not been seen publically since 2016.

Walters’ health had been in decline for several years. She passed away on December 30th at her home surrounded by loved ones.
