WalletHub released its 2023 list of the Best and Worst States to Raise a Family, and #13 on the list was Illinois. The state received high marks for “family fun,” “affordability,” and “median family income.”

To compare us to our neighbors, the state of Wisconsin came in 17th place, and Indiana ranked only #34.
