Goodwill workers were in for a (not-so) explosive surprise when they came across a grenade among donations. A grenade was discovered at a Goodwill in Round Lake Beach. Employees evacuated and The Waukegan Bomb Squad was called in.

It turns out it was a training grenade that had accidentally been donated. Training grenades are hollowed-out, decommissioned, and nonexplosive. So, please don’t donate your grenades or firearms to Goodwill!
