Chicago Mayfest kicks off the summer festival season on May 12th through 14th on Armitage and Sheffield in the Historic District of Lincoln Park benefitting the Ranch Triangle Community Conservation Association. This year they celebrate their 26th Season. Only one block from the Armitage Brown line stop.
Two stages will showcase Chicago’s most acclaimed musicians while festival goers enjoy a variety of delicious summertime food and all the libations needed to light up your weekend. You won’t want to miss this celebration of the sights, sounds and tastes of Chicago’s glorious Summer Season. Now with the Armitage Art Show in the heart of the festival, you’ll get to experience Chicago’s top artists as they showcase and sell their work and feature interactive art demonstrations!
Let your kids enjoy the family carnival area while you wet your whistle with a wide variety of your favorite Summer drinks like Chicago’s famous Red & White Sangria as well as Ice Cold Cocktails and Beer available at any of the three bars.
Mayfest is designed to showcase and support the local neighborhood through celebration. The positive economic impact of this festival will support the historic Ranch Triangle area, as well as the broader Lincoln Park Community. The revenue will help support the community throughout the year, by promoting and encouraging small businesses along the Armitage, Halsted and Clybourn shopping areas, supporting schools and improving public education and supporting existing parks and advocating for new parks in the area. You can support Ranch Triangle Community Conservation Association for only a $10 suggested donation.
You can purchase tickets upon entry to the festival or purchase them ahead of time here.
