Chicago has two of the most popular festivals in the United States

According to one outlet, the City of Chicago is home to a pair of the top ten most popular festivals to attend this year in the United States.

To celebrate all the great festivities going on across the country, Betway — An online sports casino — decided to analyze the most popular festivals based on search volumes in the past 12 months.

Using Keyword IO, the total number of searches for the top festivals across the US were analyzed, and the results showed that Illinois plans to play host to two of the most popular festivals across the country, in the form of Lollapalooza and Pitchfork.

Overall, the two Chicago-based festivals had a total search volume of 892,380 and 485,810 across the past year, making them a part of some of the most popular events in the US.

Coachella is officially America’s most popular festival with over 3.2 million searches in the past year and was a clear favorite when it came to festivals in the US.

The Electric Daisy Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, was the second most popular with 1,946,970 searches in the past 12 months, narrowly edging out Mardi Gras, which had 1,875,260 searches.
