Category 5 Hurricane Maria is devastating Puerto Rico with roof-sweeping high winds; but will the storms reach Florida? As of this morning, The National Hurricane Center has recorded high winds of 160 miles an hour from the storm. The NHC is warning of potential flash floods and mudslides in Puerto Rico, The British Virgin Islands and the US. It has yet to be determined how much Florida should expect from Maria but whatever comes from the hurricane should arrive in the southeastern state before 2AM on Sunday, September 24th.
