A new “augmented reality app’ based on the multimedia David Bowie Is museum exhibit will launch on Tuesday (January 8th), which would’ve been David Bowie‘s 72nd birthday. The app will be narrated by Gary Oldman, with Pitchfork.com posting, “The app will allow users to interact with ‘the show’s hundreds of costumes, videos, handwritten lyrics, original works of art, and more.'” A virtual reality David Bowie Is experience is also in the works.
