Metra trains always get extra crowded when there’s a BIG event downtown.  It’s definitely not fun when you experience this on your work commute.  “Standing aisle only,” anyone?  Metra will be combatting crowded trains by adding more trains starting this Wednesday for The Taste of Chicago.  Metra has confirmed that they will be adding extra trains on its BNSF line throughout the event as well as extra inbound trains for the Union Pacific West line on Saturday.
