Weekends

Here’s the Chicago Museums that are free throughout February

The museums in Chicago are so much fun… but REALLY expensive.  So, for those of you that want to plan a fun-filled day in The Loop for a budget, I recommend hopping on a train and checking out a museum this month.

All February-long, The Field Museum and The Shedd Aquarium are offering free admission to Illinois residents.  Weekdays throughout February, Illinois residents will be able reenact one of the most iconic scenes from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, when they are able to get into the Art Institute for free.  Finally, The Museum of Science and Industry will offer free days Monday-Thursday throughout February and the Adler Planetarium is free Tuesday-Thursday thought out that month.  You must be an Illinois resident to take advantage of those offers as well.

Go enjoy a museum or five!
