This Saturday, March 14th, the annual Chicago St. Patrick’s Day parade is kicking off at noon. Health scares have prompted several big cities including Boston and even ALL of Ireland to cancel their holiday parades. Chicago is no party-pooper and knows it’s city wants to have a green holiday (in the sense of St. Patrick’s Day and not getting sick).
If you do attend, just remember: don’t touch your face, wash your hands for at least 20 seconds after the parade and HAVE FUN!!
UPDATE: As of Wednesday, March 11th, The Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade and River Dyeing have been canceled and The South Side Irish Parade has been postponed.
