Americans may be cooped up social distancing at home right now, but a new survey found that nearly half of respondents still have trips planned for the second half of this year, between June and December.
The online survey from Dollar Flight Club, which alerts subscribers to cheap domestic and international flights, got responses from 20,000 members, 93 percent of them Americans. They were also asked if they’d feel comfortable traveling internationally over the next six months if restrictions are lifted, with 61 percent saying yes and 39 percent saying no. Asked about travel this summer or over Christmas and New Year’s, nearly 41 percent said they’d only feel comfortable traveling domestically.
