Disney‘s live-action “Mulan” remake was set to be a huge summer blockbuster, but then corona happened. So instead, they’re releasing it on Disney+ on September 4th.
But, you still have to pay for it. It’ll cost 30 bucks on top of your regular subscription. By the way, Disney is NOT using this as a test run for a possible new business model. They say it’s just a one-off, brought on by the circumstances.
Disney+ is up to 60.5 million subscribers, just nine months after it launched. That puts them at third among streaming services, behind Netflix with 193 million subscribers, and Amazon Prime with 150 million.
