It’s corn harvesting time! At least, that’s what the purpose of the ‘Corn Moon’ was to Native Americans. Once every 3 years this full moon that appears closer to the Earth greatly brightens our nights. Due to it’s timing taking place at the peak of harvesting time, the native farmers would pick corn to this late night illumination. You, on the other hand, might just want to get a cool picture for Facebook and Instagram. Tomorrow, September 2nd, is definitely the night for that when the full moon is at it’s peak!
