Starting this month (January 15th), those pesky speeding tickets might be sending warnings and eventually tickets your way, just for going slightly over the limit. For 44 days, the city of Chicago will be warning drivers who speed only 6-10 miles over about the strict crackdowns coming our way in March.
On March 1st, if you speed 6-10 miles over in a speed camera zone, you’ll receive a $35 ticket in the mail. 11 miles and up gets you the usual $100 fine. So maybe in 2021, make leaving early your New Year’s resolution…
